Examinations Recognition

1. Where are Institute qualifications recognised?

1. Where are Institute qualifications recognised?

Where appropriate, the Institute's qualifications have been submitted for inclusion in the National Framework of Qualifications, so that they will be recognised at a government level and, it is hoped, internationally. On an individual level, the DPSI is being recognised by the criminal justice agencies in England and Wales through their national agreement on the National Register of Public Service Interpreters. The Diploma in Translation is widely regarded as a professional benchmark in many parts of the world, and the ELIC Diploma has been recognised by a number of UK universities as an entry qualification to post-graduate studies.
