I am a freelance interpreter based in London with substantial experience in the fields of law, health, local government, policing, education, politics, media and audiovisual production. Innately, I am friendly and sensitive; but my natural traits have been nurtured through specialised training as I hold advanced accreditation in community counselling (other than my specialised linguistic qualifications). Also, I am a language assessor and lecturer for postgraduate interpreting courses, and an examiner/marker for the Chartered Institute of Linguists' DPSI and Diploma in Translation. At the present time, I am working to earn a PhD in a linguistic, multidisciplinary intercultural, research.

I am an Informations Systems Engineer with extensive experience in software support, Project Management and Project Goverance. I hold Chartered Engineer and Chartered IT Professional status through my membership of the British Computer Society, and am also a member of the Association for Project Management and the Institute of Supervision and Management. Due to the international nature of my employment I use languages extensively in support of my core tasks; I am an interpreter qualified in Greek and Modern Standard Arabic, and have recent experience working in the Middle East liaising with a number of Governmental organisations.
